Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce Is Here

Heinz is on a roll with all its new partnerships. Just a few weeks ago, it announced it partnered with Mattel to bring the world Barbiecue Sauce, a mix of vegan mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, in honor of Barbie’s 65th anniversary. And now, it’s bringing us all another fantastic partnership — this time for something a bit spicier.

On Monday, Heinz announced it’s partnered with the London-based chicken shop Morley’s for the new Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce. According to a press release, the sauce is a blend of sweet and spicy flavors thanks to the perfect mix of tomatoes, paprika, onions, and chili. And though the sauce is tailor-made for fried chicken, the company says it’s also the perfect sauce for really anything you want to pair it with, from “spiced grilled lamb to halloumi and rice.”

“Seeing the reception to our sauce last summer was truly mad,” Shan Selvendran, Morley’s co-owner, shared in a statement about the sauce’s introduction to Morley’s London chicken shops in 2023. “We knew we had fans, but we couldn’t predict the sauces going missing and people messaging us to ask where they could buy it, it was unexpected! We’re excited to work with Heinz and bring our fans what they want. It’s going to be a dream come true to see our family business’ name in supermarkets across the country!”

Thiago Rapp, head of sauces at Heinz, added to the excitement, noting, “Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce is a flavor bomb; sweet and spicy, designed to take your meal to new heights. Fried chicken is one of Britain’s most consumed dishes, more so than fish and chips. So, it made perfect sense to bring together our passion for making the nation’s most loved sauces and the cult-love for Morley’s. We’ve created a sauce that enhances the flavor of any dish, whether you’re a fried chicken aficionado or simply love good food, this sauce is a game-changer.”

The sauce is available to purchase now across major UK retailers for £3.39 (about $4.25). So while you can’t get it in the U.S., this may just be the perfect excuse to finally book that trip to London and enjoy that fried chicken you’ve been caving. Or hell, smother it on some fish and chips for the fun of it.
