The Best Celebrity Vacations This Holiday Season

Celebrities, they’re just like us: Who doesn’t crave a vacation during the holiday season, whether to an exotic, palm-lined beach or a sleek chalet in an exclusive ski resort? Except, of course, celebrities aren’t just like us—when they feel the urge to jet off for a far-flung getaway, they have the means to head to some of the most opulent and exclusive destinations in the world.

As always, the Caribbean island of St. Barths has proven a popular getaway over the 2023 holidays: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted browsing some of the celebrity hotspot’s world-class luxury boutiques earlier this week, while Heidi Klum posted a series of snaps to Instagram of her romantic getaway with her husband, the German rock guitarist Tom Kaulitz.

Elsewhere, a handful of stars jetted off to Aspen, Colorado to hit the slopes in the morning and spend their afternoons shopping or checking out the city’s ever-evolving arts scene. (There’s been a boom in interesting exhibitions this season, it turns out.) One star who opted for the former activity was Rihanna, who hit up the beloved Western wear retailer Kemo Sabe with A$AP Rocky and the couple’s two sons—picking up a cowboy hat or two along the way, no doubt. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian shared a TikTok of herself and North West wearing ski goggles as they dressed to get ready for a New Year’s Eve spent making the most of the fresh powder.

As for further-flung destinations? Dua Lipa shared a series of snaps from a once-in-a-lifetime India trip, while Suki Waterhouse showed her baby bump (the model and musician revealed she was expecting her first child with Robert Pattinson last month) while holidaying on a lush tropical beach.

Here, see all of the best celebrity vacations so far this holiday season—and in the wake of New Year’s Eve, expect plenty more posts over the coming days.
