Before becoming a travel writer, I worked at Lululemon, where many stores broke records on Memorial Day. As much as I’d like to chalk it up to our staff’s sales skills, it’s really because our We Made Too Much section always grew exponentially in honor of the holiday (which honors all men and women who died while serving in the military).
