Every year when summer rolls around, I tell myself I don't really need anything new. I have the linen shirts, the easy dresses, the sandals that have already seen a few too many rooftop brunches, yet without fail, there's always a brand (or three) that sneaks onto my radar and suddenly makes my closet feel, well, a little stale. A new source of inspiration that comes in the form of a fabulous fashion brand always leads to a few new purchases and gets me excited for what's next to come with a new season.

Before summer creeps up on us, I decided to go straight to the source and ask a few fashion editors about the brands that are quietly taking over their summer wardrobes. These are the labels they're reaching for again and again—the ones that make getting dressed in 90-degree weather feel a little less impossible.
