Sofia Richie Grainge is finishing out her pregnancy in style.
The model and entrepreneur attended a Beverly Hills party celebrating Nicolas Bijan’s menswear label, NB44, alongside her husband, Elliot Grainge, in a colorful, yet luxe maternity ‘fit. Richie Grainge donned a forest green velvet smoking jacket from Loro Piana, which retails for $3,275. She accentuated her baby bump with the jacket’s velvet-and-macramé sash, which she cinched above her belly. She opted for a suiting look, donning a matching pair of green velvet trousers.
Richie Grainge had fun with color in this look. While many would probably instinctively lean toward neutral accessories, she chose a pair of hot pink ruched satin pumps from Khaite from the quiet luxury label’s fall 2020 collection. She finished off her look with a blue Loro Piana ostrich pouch bag and oversized earrings with a black enamel center.
Richie Grainge’s maternity style has been relatively in line with her timeless personal style. Immediately following her January pregnancy announcement in Vogue, she wore a sleek black off-the-shoulder suit from Attersee to a Pre-Grammys party. She’s even elevated classic maternity staples like overalls, wearing a pair of chic olive green dungarees from R13 with an oatmeal cashmere sweater and a Ferragamo bag.
While the smoking jacket is generally associated with Hugh Hefner and Frank Sinatra, Sofia Richie Grainge has made it perfectly de rigueur maternity-wear. We love to see her breaking from her wheelhouse and having fun with fashion during her pregnancy. We’re certain that her baby girl will inherit her fabulous fashion sense, too.
