Travelers looking to save on pricey summer flights can score a big discount with Avelo’s newest promo code.
This latest Mother’s Day fare sale ends tomorrow, May 14, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Travelers can enter promo code “MOM” on Avelo’s website to save $20 off all round-trip flights through the end of July. With no blackout dates, it’s easier than ever for travelers to save on a long weekend trip on Memorial Day or Independence Day.
“We love that our customers can give the gift of travel to mothers — they do so much for everyone,” an Avelo spokesperson shared with T+L about the sale.
The discount applies to all flights across Avelo’s network, and the airline has recently launched a bevy of new destinations just in time for the busy summer season. Avelo has expanded heavily out of its home base in Southern Connecticut, with new routes to Atlanta and Charlotte-Concord kicking off next month.
Travel + Leisure tested the promo code on the new route between Tweed-New Haven and Atlanta, which will operate 4x weekly. For example, a traveler can book a round-trip flight in early July for just $161.49 — instead of $181.49. With the promo code, that’s over a 10 percent savings from the original sticker price.
Avelo is a newer carrier marking three years of flying last month, and working to build out its route network. Even so, Avelo reported it was the most on-time domestic airline in April 2024 — as nearly 89 percent of its flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
It’s important for first-time fliers on Avelo to know that seat assignments and carry-on bags all come at an additional cost. However, the new $20 discount code should give travelers a nice cushion to pay for these extras ahead of their next flight.
