Do you know how many collection images Vogue Runway posts each year?
The answer is simply “too many to count,” and while I had hoped to at least tell you the amount of detail shots we published this year for the purpose of this story, I lost count somewhere nearing four digits. What I was able to do is curate the best, funnest, kookiest, and most compelling runway detail images of 2023. Much can be said about fashion in 2023—things got weird, then a little quiet (luxury), and then weird again with a side of normcore—but the takeaway from this image gallery is that there’s more to your favorite looks that meet the eye.
