Gomez and Blanco stepped out in polar-opposite looks, which is a trend among Hollywood pairs such as Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet and the Biebers. It makes sense to rebuke matchy-matchy style: Why dress alike when you can embrace individuality instead? For her part, Gomez looked to discrete glamour for her night out—pairing a black sequined dress with a big, luxe faux fur coat. Very chic. Blanco, meanwhile, went more casual and cozy, sporting a multicolored, crocheted hoodie—and matching pants to go with.
Basically, she’s dressed for a black-tie gala, he’s dressed for a night in. Yet, somehow, it all works together. Their clashing looks prove that they can embrace each other’s differences as a couple, and march to the beat of their own fashion drums. They do say opposites attract!
