European markets turn green as U.S.-China talks remain in focus (EROTF)

Construction output in Slovakia rose 6% Y/Y in September 2023, up from a 4% increase in the previous month.
Lithuania posted a current account surplus of Є602.6M in September 2023, shifting from a deficit of Є276.1M in the corresponding month of the previous year.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 (STOXX) climbed 0.66% ahead to high-stakes talks between the U.S. and China in the next few days. Travel and leisure stocks added as most sectors advanced. Food and beverage stocks slid lower.
In the bond market, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was up 2 basis points at 4.65%.
Germany’s 10-year yield was up 1 basis point to 2.72%.
U.K.’s 10-year yield was unchanged at 4.33%.
