Zooey Deschanel, Paris Hilton, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph All Attended The Fashion Trust U.S. 2024 Awards

Fashion Trust is still in its infancy, but already the annual event, which held its second-ever ceremony last night in Beverly Hills, is a fully blossomed, star-studded affair. Zooey Deschanel hosted, and presenters (Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Cynthia Erivo) welcomed award winners. Ashley Graham, Paris Hilton, Lucy Hale, and Kelly Rowland were among the audience members.

A night celebrating the small and talented designers cropping up across the industry, the Fashion Trusts U.S. boasts familiar industry names such as Karla Welch and Tan France while its 2024 advisory board includes Law Roach, Mike Amiri, Isabel Marant, and Tory Burch. Together, they weigh in on finalists for a slew of award categories that offer small labels a substantial financial investment and mentorship. This year, award winners included Harbison Studio, ManLuu, Esha Soni, Yamil Arbaje, Batsheva, and Don’t Let Disco.

For its second ceremony, founder Tania Fares brought the celebration to a private estate, where guests arrived just in time to catch the sunset with a Casamigos cocktail in hand. Partygoers such as Dylan Sprouse, Laura Harrier, and Christina Hendricks hung about the property’s sprawling backyard, which included a patio area set with standing tables for chatting and a gardenesque conversation pit.

Dinner came after sunset, when guests had had plenty of time to mingle. The highlight of the night? A surprise performance by Macy Gray midway through the ceremony, which, of course, wouldn’t commence without an “I Try” sing-along.
