Cheche Group partners with Xiaomi’s insurance brokerage firm as first EV launches in China

Auto insurance platform Cheche Group (NASDAQ:CCG) Thursday announced a partnership with an affiliate of Xiaomi (OTCPK:XIACF), as the Chinese smartphone maker released its first electric car in China.

Teaming up with Beijing Houji Insurance Brokerage, the insurance brokerage firm in Xiaomi Group, Cheche would offer a digital auto insurance transaction SaaS service platform with operational support.

Xiaomi released its first EV called SU7, which is a sporty four-door sedan on Thursday.

Under the contract, Cheche would provide auto insurance service solutions to car owners in multiple cities, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and others.
