The world is currently all tied up in the ribbon trend. We first saw a hint of the style during spring/summer 2024 New York Fashion Week, where models at Sandy Liang, Collina Strada, Christian Siriano, and Mirror Palais walked the runway with a range of dainty to floor-skimming ribbons in their hair.
Since then, we have fully entered the ribbonaisance. Whether pretty and pink (something borne of balletcore), a bright barette, or inspired by the statement-making black mod styled loved by icons Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve, the bow has now been deemed appropriate for any and all events.
