The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Alexa Chung, Emma Corrin, Elle Fanning, And More

The January slump is in full swing in the real world, but the bright, shiny world of Instagram is here to keep us afloat with some excellent fashion content. 

This week brought the Golden Globes, the unofficial kickoff of awards season. Often considered the most fun of the big acting awards shows—and, perhaps relatedly, the only one with an open bar—the stars turned out in some fabulous Globes looks. Nominee Elle Fanning brought us behind the scenes as she buttoned up her vintage Pierre Balmain dress (and showed off a surprise piece of her character from her current Broadway play, Appropriate, that she brought with her.)

The Globes weren’t the only awards show this week. Danielle Brooks, who is basking in nominations for her work in The Color Purple, showed off her on-theme purple sequined dress from the Governors Awards.

Elsewhere, others kept it casual. Alexa Chung showed off some fabulous outerwear in a series of mirror selfies, while Emma Corrin gave us their jeans-and-tee interpretation of upcycled Miu Miu.
