You Can Fly to Tahiti for As Low As $750 Round-trip—See the Deals

A getaway to French Polynesia just got cheaper. 

Air Tahiti Nui recently announced a fare sale from Seattle and other markets to the islands of Tahiti and Bora Bora, with deals starting at $750 round-trip. 

The primary deal applies to the Seattle, WA (SEA) to Papeete, Tahiti (PPT) route, where the airline has discounted the round-trip flight to $750, a spokesperson for Air Tahiti Nui shared with Travel + Leisure. 

The fare also includes checked bags and meals, ensuring that it isn’t a slimmed-down low-cost fare where travelers are on the hook for extras. Travelers can book the fare on Air Tahiti's website through May 31, 2025, for travel until December 31, 2025.

Airfares to Tahiti from Seattle can often reach a peak of $1,420 round-trip, according to Google Flight data, so the fare sale could be helpful for travelers seeking a discounted way to explore and visit the tropical islands. 

While the Seattle route may offer the most significant savings, travelers in other cities can also score a deal. The airline has discounted flights from San Francisco to Bora Bora from $1,286, as well as New York to Bora Bora for $1,453. The airline is also running an airfare deal on San Francisco to Tahiti from $958. Air Tahiti Nui maintains a full list of current deals on its Flight Deals page. 

Best of all, the airline offers an elevated level of service that includes a comfort kit, pillow, and blanket at each seat to make the long journey more comfortable. 

Each seat is equipped with a USB port for power, as well as an in-flight entertainment system with movies and television programs. The airline says it also maintains a sommelier-designed wine program. 

Known for its beautiful beaches and hiking trails, Tahiti has also recently been recognized as a popular family vacation destination. 

“Most people come to Tahiti and its surrounding islands to celebrate a honeymoon, or a milestone birthday,” T+L contributing writer Naomi Tomky recently shared in a first-person article. “But you know who else adores pretty flowers, silky sand, and bathwater-warm ocean? Children.”

Tomky also flew Air Tahiti Nui’s flight from Seattle to Papeete, and described the experience as “mercifully easy”. 

The island of Tahiti welcomed over 263,000 tourists in 2024, which was a 0.7 percent increase from 2023, according to statistics from the Tahiti Tourism Board.
