Wendy’s Is Selling Its Popular Honey Buddy Biscuits for $1 Through September

Who knew Mondays could be the best day of the week? Apparently, Wendy’s knew all along.

On Monday, the fast food chain announced its mission to make Mondays — specifically Monday mornings — the best part of everyone’s week by offering a brand-new breakfast deal its biscuit fans will adore.

Starting now, Wendy’s fans can snag a Honey Buddy for just $1 with any purchase. And if you’re thinking, “That’s cool, what’s a Honey Buddy?” Wendy’s provided an answer.

“The Honey Buddy starts with a perfectly fluffy buttermilk biscuit topped with breaded all-white meat chicken and a sweet and creamy maple honey butter. The beloved breakfast sandwich is a harmonious balance of savory and sweet in every bite,” it explained in a press release about the new deal.

There is, of course, one catch. The deal is only available through the Wendy’s app, so you’ll need to download it and join its loyalty program. Then, you’ll need to purchase another item (any item) during breakfast hours on Mondays from now through Monday, September 30, and click the “$1 breakfast sandwich with any purchase” offer and add a Honey Buddy to your order. The deal is also available at participating Wendy’s restaurants by scanning the in-app offer.

“Mondays are hard, and Wendy’s Honey Buddy has been a fan-favorite on our craveable breakfast lineup since 2020,” Lindsay Radkoski, the U.S. chief marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, shared in a statement. “Now, fans don’t need to brave Monday morning alone because Wendy’s Honey Buddy is available at an unbeatable value.”

This isn’t the only new thing Wendy’s is dropping this summer. In June, it also unveiled its new Triple Berry Frosty, a decadent combination of blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry flavors.

“This delectable summer-inspired Frosty flavor is the newest innovation in seasonal Frosty treats, with a vibrant color that will transport your senses to a cool summer vacay with its smooth and creamy texture,” Wendy’s explained about the new flavor in a press release. Sadly, this flavor replaced the company’s last seasonal Frosty release, the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, and, like its other treats, will only be available for a limited time too. So, go ahead and order a Honey Buddy and maybe a Triple Berry Frosty while you can. Who knows, they may make the perfect Monday morning summer combination.
