Wendy’s Has a New Boo! Bags Deal for Halloween That’s all Treats and No Tricks

This year, Wendy’s is making sure everyone knows Halloween isn’t just for kids.

On Monday, the fast food giant announced its new Boo! Bag meal, which includes a Dave’s Single, small Hot & Crispy Fry, small Frosty, glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure, and a Boo! Books coupon book.

And while all that sounds good, it’s the Boo! Book that’s the real star. Inside, customers will find coupons for five free Jr Frostys and a sixth bonus coupon to redeem a $1.99 Wendy’s kids’ meal with any purchase. But hang on, there’s more good news. Every Boo! Books coupon book sold as part of the Boo! Bag or individually for $1 will benefit foster care adoption by benefiting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

The Boo! Bags are available now at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide through Nov. 3, but only while supplies last, so if you’re thinking of getting one, now is the time. The coupons will be valid for use through Dec. 31, 2024.

“With the launch of Boo! Bags, the whole family can get in on the Halloween fun at Wendy’s. From those ‘kidults’ who love a collectible toy to a parent looking for a delicious meal deal, Wendy’s has fright-fanatics covered,” the brand shared in its announcement.

And if you do want to buy those Boo! Books separately, you can order one via the company’s mobile app or through Wendy’s self-order kiosks by adding your Boo! Books to your order from the “Give Something Back” category. While you’re there, you can also pick up one of Wendy’s Krabby Patty Kollab burgers in honor of Spongebob, along with a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty in participating United States, Canada, and Guam locations.

As Food & Wine previously reported, Wendy’s 3D version of the Krabby Patty is made with a quarter-pound burger that is then topped with two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and a new Krabby Kollab sauce made just for this burger. The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty uses the Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty base and mixes in a Pineapple Mango-flavored purée for the ultimate fruity-meets-nostalgia kick. So yes, go ahead, get both this and the Boo! Bag. That’s the beauty of being an adult on Halloween, you get to do whatever you want.
