President Donald Trump recently sat down to speak with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who has been under fire for his flattery and praise of Trump surrounding this week's NATO Summit.

On June 24, the first day of the NATO Summit, Trump took to Truth Social to share a gushing message he received from Rutte, which read: “You will achieve something NO American president in decades could get done.”

Then, later on, their face-to-face sit-down went viral for being even more unsettling:

While discussing the ongoing fight between Israel and Iran, Trump said: “They're not going to be fighting each other. They've had it. They've had a big fight, like two kids in a schoolyard. You know, they fight like hell. You can't stop them. Let them fight for about two, three minutes. Then it's easier to stop them.”

“And then daddy has to sometimes use strong language,” Rutte said, raising his fist and laughing loudly.

Well, later on, Trump was questioned about the “daddy” comment and here's what he had to say: “The NATO chief called you daddy earlier. Do you regard your NATO allies as children?” one reporter asked.
