‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Premiere Date Is Here
We’re heading back to The White Lotus on Feb. 16, 2025.
Taking place in Thailand, Travel + Leisure‘s 2025 Destination of the Year, fans of the show will be happy to see that its third season features the same hallmarks of its previous two — luxury, mystery, and deceit — per the trailer that dropped on Monday.
HBO’s Max, where the show will stream, also posted an eerie Instagram post ahead of the trailer’s release, writing “karma comes for everyone.”
Filmed across the country, specifically at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas and the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, characters will take in the scenes and santcuary-like surroundings of Thailand and even experience a traditional Songkran festival — before things take a turn.
Written and directed by Mike White, the upcoming season of the award-winning show will star Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, Leslie Bibb, Patrick Schwarzenneger, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Tayme Thapthimthong, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola, among many others.
Viewers will also see a familiar face in Natasha Rothwell who appeared in Season 1.
White has hinted that this season will delve into themes of spirituality and (obviously) wellness, exploring how privilege and desire clash with the pursuit of enlightenment.
“I think the third season, it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality — it feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus,” he said at the time of the show’s second season finale, according to People.
Seasons 1 and 2 of The White Lotus were filmed in Hawaii and Sicily at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and at the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace, respectively.
