The Top 10 Fall 2025 Copenhagen Fashion Week Trends

Colors so rich they look edible, some he-she tease, and accents of the ’80s are among the top 10 trends that emerged at the fall 2025 shows in Copenhagen. Others include faux fur by the yard, borrowings from performancewear, and a return to a Sabrina-like elegance. In terms of vibes, the Nordic designers’ collections were very much in line with what we have been seeing for pre-fall, at menswear, and on the red carpet. The point of difference in Denmark, besides the friendly price point, is the purposefulness of the designs in terms of sustainability and wearability.

For the most part, the Danes are thinking about “forever” pieces that have a certain amount of newness but can work into an existing wardrobe, be layered creatively, and stay in rotation for years to come. As you’ll see in the slideshows below, “normal” doesn’t have to be boring. On the streets and the runways, hats added a whimsical touch, as did the fanciful embroideries on jackets at Caro Editions, the candy-like bubble skirts at Nicklas Skovgaard, and the touches of crystal at Anne Sofie Madsen.

Elevating everyday dressing assumes a certain stability; Alectra Rothschild’s show on the subject of “trans rage” was a reminder that not everyone can be so carefree. It was an important message and a reminder that fashion has the power to do more than enchant.

If the Hat Fits

Head-to-toe dressing starts with a cap or bonnet.
