Temperley London Fall 2025 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Alice Temperley is in a celebratory mood as she enters the 25th year of her eponymous brand. In October, the designer opened her new flagship store just off London’s Sloane Square, where she held her fall 2025 presentation, entitled La Victoire. “This is a big year—when you’ve survived this long, and come through a really challenging thing, you’re just like, ‘Oh my god, let’s try to be positive, and celebrate,’” Temperley, who filed for administration and restructured her business back in 2021, said.

This season, the designer was inspired by her son’s great-great-great-great grandfather Levin August von Bennigsen, who fought Napoleon back in 1807. Of course, the military theme was given a Temperley twist: blinged-up and hand-painted medals adorned blazers, silk shirting, and the brand’s signature tattoo gowns. Then there were the jacquard knits in blue, red and purple, which had a Napleonic, almost regal air about them, while fringed filigree dresses offered a contemporary take on armour.

The family ties didn’t end with von Bennigsen: Temperley also designed her own toile de Jouy, featuring horses, llamas and donkeys from her farm, as well as the Somerset hill near where she grew up, and a tribute to her son, Fox. It’s these personal touches that make the brand uniquely British—even as it expands its customer base globally into the US and Middle East.

While there was something for everyone in this wide-ranging offering (the designer noted that spring 2026 will feature a tighter edit), it’s occasion wear that remains Temperley’s safest bet as she dances towards her brand’s milestone anniversary next season.
