To be clear, I don’t use this spray as my primary sunscreen. General guidance is for people — regardless of skin color — to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (this blocks both UVA and UVB rays) with an SPF of at least 30, according to the American Academy of Dermatology Association. I start my day with a higher SPF cream sunscreen, but for reapplication, I turn to Supergoop’s spray when traveling.
