Paige DeSorbo’s Packing Tips For The Hamptons
For “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo, the Hamptons isn't just a getaway — it's a summer ritual. “I go pretty much every weekend starting the Fourth of July until Labor Day,” DeSorbo says. “I'm not one of those people who brings their entire summer wardrobe out east and leaves it there. What if I need that one pair of shoes in the city midweek? That would drive me insane.”
Her approach to packing is thoughtful and measured. “I pack per weekend,” explains the “Giggly Squad” podcast host. “The only things I leave out there are bathing suits, underwear, bras, skincare, and my Braun products.” A longtime fan of the brand, DeSorbo is partnering with them to promote their SmoothSkin Collection. “It's honestly such a relief when you're on vacation and realize you didn't even have to shave your bikini line,” DeSorbo says of her go-to Braun device. “I've been shaving since fourth grade — I deserve this.”
The Hamptons aesthetic is easy — white, linen, fresh. It's not preppy, but definitely more toned down. In the summer, my entire wardrobe flips.
Known for her sharp fashion sense and even sharper wit, DeSorbo is also the planner of her friend group. “I love a calendar. I always know what we're doing every weekend. No one else looks at the schedule, but I'm always yelling about it.” While you might expect a jam-packed itinerary of trendy restaurants and crowded beach clubs, DeSorbo keeps things refreshingly low-key. “We don't really go out much, but one of my favorite underrated Hamptons activities is mini golf,” she reveals. “No one talks about it, but it's so cute — a perfect day date. There's this place in Southampton with batting cages too. We go at least once a summer.” A typical day out east? “Wake up, coffee, grab a bagel, hang by the pool, maybe hit a happy hour at Cowfish where they have outdoor games, and then dinner.”
When it comes to style, DeSorbo ditches her signature New-York-City-inspired black for all things light and breezy. “The Hamptons aesthetic is easy — white, linen, fresh. It's not preppy, but definitely more toned down. In the summer, my entire wardrobe flips,” she says. She also incorporates knitwear so she's prepared when the temperatures drop at night. “You need a sweater until August,” she says. “Always bring jeans and a good sweater — but I'll still push it with a mini skirt.”
