This year’s Prime Big Deal Days will align with past years. It will be during the week for 48 hours, starting Tuesday, October 8, and running through Wednesday, October 9.

What is Prime Big Deal Days? 

Colloquially known as October Prime Day, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is a fall sale event where the retailer discounts items across every category from electronics to outdoor picks, though we tend to monitor the kitchen and home discounts. It typically lasts two full days and includes discounts for everyone to shop in addition to Prime member-exclusive discounts. It helps to join Prime (you can get a 30-day trial for free) to take advantage of all of the deals, faster shipping, and access to other Amazon perks like its streaming service and grocery store affiliations. 

How long is Prime Big Deal Days 2024? 

It’s common for Amazon sale events like Prime Day to run for two full days, and Prime Big Deal Days is no different. Last year, it ran from 3 a.m. EDT on the first day through 3 a.m. EDT on the second day, giving you 48 hours to shop the deals.

How does Prime Big Deal Days work? 

All you need to do is go to Amazon’s deals hub to find and take advantage of discounts. It will be beneficial to be a Prime member during this event (and other Amazon events), as some deals are member-exclusive, and members get additional benefits like fast, free shipping.
