1. What is your favorite festive ritual?
There’s a Filipino tradition to attend the Simbang Gabi, or Night Mass, wearing new outfits—and then after the mass, we enjoy purple rice cakes, or Puto Bumbong and Bibingka, with tea. If we complete the entire series of nine Night Masses before Christmas, we can make a wish.
2. What’s the perfect gift to surprise your closest friend?
My partner—and, now, fiancée!—Robb has a huge obsession with sneakers, so I’ll be surprising him with a new pair or two.
3. What’s the best gift you have received in recent years?
I’m a coffee lover, so Robb surprised me with a Nespresso machine—and the following day I was gifted a black-and-white tweed trench coat, which I absolutely love.
4. It’s not the festive season without a glamorous party: What item of clothing (or accessory) is sure to make you stand out from the crowd?
For sure, my double-breasted velvet blazer with fringe on the sleeves, with slim flared trousers.
5. Lastly, what’s the one beauty item that speaks to your holiday season allure?
I am in love with Dior Sauvage—I have the beard and face moisturiser, body wash, and—of course—the perfume. I always carry the Dior Le Baume and Rouge Dior Lip Balm in my pouch!
