Krispy Kreme’s New ‘Big Game Dozen’ Is Exactly What You Need for the Super Bowl

Krispy Kreme is back at it with its game-winning deals. And this time, it's got one specifically for Super Bowl viewers.

This Friday through Super Bowl Sunday, Krispy Kreme is offering fans the chance to snag its “Big Game Dozen,” which includes six football-shaped doughnuts filled with White Kreme, which are then dipped in chocolate icing with white icing football laces, alongside six Original Glazed doughnuts. 

The “Big Game Dozen,” Krispy Kreme shared in a statement with Food & Wine, is available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via the doughnut chain's app and website. Fans can even pre-order their viewing party doughnuts starting today — just note that you can only pre-order if you're purchasing catering sizes. And beginning today, fans can pre-order the dozen, exclusive to catering sizes only, which appear to start at a minimum of two dozen, at krispykreme.com/catering.

But that's not all. In addition to picking up these adorable football doughnuts, fans can also “score” a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $2 with the purchase of any other dozen, which will certainly make you the most popular person at your viewing party. 

However, this isn't the only fun doughnut Krispy Kreme is offering this month. Last week, the doughnut shop launched its Hearts in Bloom Collection, which it described as “an exquisite arrangement of four heart-shaped doughnuts in a customized flower bouquet box.”

The collection, which is available through Valentine's Day, includes the You Make My Daisy Doughnut, an unglazed heart doughnut filled with white kreme, dipped in strawberry-flavored icing, drizzled with yellow icing, and then topped with a daisy candy piece. There's also the Love You Bunches Doughnut, another unglazed heart doughnut, this time filled with chocolate kreme, then dipped in red icing, drizzled with green stems, and topped with pink and red confectionery curls. Then, we have the Blooming Heart Doughnut, an unglazed heart doughnut filled with cookies and kreme filling, then dipped in purple icing and sprinkled with hearts in bloom sprinkles, and finally, there's the You Are My Sunshine Doughnut, one more unglazed heart doughnut filled with caramel flavored Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with a green stem, and topped with a sunflower candy piece. 

“Our Hearts in Bloom Collection is perfect for sharing love and appreciation for anyone special in your life this Valentine's Day,” Dave Skena, the chief growth officer of Krispy Kreme, shared with Food & Wine. “They might like flowers, but they'll love our beautiful and delicious flower doughnuts. They are perfect for sweethearts, family, friends, and co-workers.” Of course, you could always bring these to your watch party to show your love for your fellow football fans, too.
