Jennifer Lopez Is Having a Very Busy Press Tour

This is Jennifer Lopez…still.

J.Lo, deep in the throes of promoting her new album This Is Me…Now, is staying true to her personal style marked by statement pieces, fur, oversized glasses, towering heels, and Birkin bags.

Post-premiere, Lopez is on the press circuit, and has an outfit for every occasion. Yesterday morning she arrived at The Today Show wearing a furry, oversized burgundy statement coat over a black base. She accessorized with a plaid beret, black leather gloves, and two of her signatures, oversized sunglasses, and a Birkin bag (this one in black crocodile.)

By the time she arrived at The View, she changed into a totally new look: a J.Lo-fied take on office wear. She donned a blue button-down tucked into a gray leather midi skirt, which revealed her über-high lace-up platform boots. Of course, a post-View change of outfit was in order. She switched into a beige monochromatic look, in another low neckline, and drop-waisted pants. True to form, she swaddled herself in a fur coat, and accessorized with beige gloves, peep-toe platform heels, and square sunnies. Swapping out her black Birkin, she instead toted her white Himalayan crocodile iteration—one of the most expensive Birkin variations.

The singer started upping the ante on promo around her SNL performance on February 3, where she performed two songs from the album. For the occasion she rocked a cropped white blouse with black trousers, and, for her second performance, a sweeping dress covered in pink rosettes complete with a thigh-high slit.

Lopez didn’t stop there. At the after party she wore an equally grand outfit as she did onstage: a plunging white dress with a rhinestone rose cutout sitting on her sternum. In the world of J.Lo, more is more, and this outfit was no exception. She coordinated her dress with sparkly, pointy-toed boots, and bundled up with an oversized white fur coat.

She also leaned into the sparkle for the Los Angeles premiere of her film, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story. A proud Leo, Lopez wore a sheer dress that pictured a glittering zodiac calendar on her skirt—her own sign at the front, naturally. That’s not to say the top didn’t have its own wow factor; she matched her belted velvet bustier top to velvet arm warmers.

Although Jennifer Lopez stayed close to home, sartorially speaking, for this promotion cycle, that doesn’t mean she’s opposed to more unconventional methods. Last summer, she stirred intrigue with a hand-embroidered cashmere sweater from Lingua Franca that read, you guessed it, “this is me…now.”
