Jennifer Lawrence Dusts off the Butter Yellows for Spring
Balmier weather is finally hitting New York. While we might feel a little sad about packing away our winter wardrobes, with endlessly chic layering options, heavier boots, and body ensconcing outerwear, it’s time to rotate in your most diaphanous linens, flirty skirts, and pieces that speak to springtime color palettes. Enter, Jennifer Lawrence.
The actor, who is somewhat of a transeasonal dressing pro, a lover of layers, and an outerwear expert with a little help from labels like The Row, was spotted out on a sunny day in the West Village of New York City yesterday afternoon (March 28). She wore a collared yellow wool jacket with big brown buttons, a white t-shirt, an ecru-toned drawstring linen midi skirt, and red striped adidas sneakers. She also toted a vintage, animal print Fendi backpack, and wore a single string necklace with a circular red resin pendant, as well as oval sunglasses. Lawrence wore her long blonde hair loose, with a dense full set of bangs.
Lawrence has managed to craft one of the most enviable cold weather wardrobes, looking to Scandi brands for their heavy duty coats, The Row accessories and covetable vintage bags, and classic flannels. Is Jennifer Lawrence ready for springtime dressing? She seems to be!
More recent photographs with Lawrence out with her partner Cooke Maroney have shown her ready to shed her luxe coats in favor of sunnier days fashion. She recently opted to step out in just a fuzzy cobalt sweater from The Row, jeans, her trusty, orange-lensed Port Tanger sunglasses, and a newly picked up Fendi Selleria bag. Lawrence loves a statement bag moment, and seems to turning to the Fendi archive more often than not.
And while Lawrence tends to lean on the ‘pop of color’ styling trick, on this occasion, it’s all about the pastoral, neutral color palette.

Lawrence and Maroney share a young son, two-year-old Cy, and there’s increasing speculation that Lawrence recently gave birth to their second child.
What we do know is that the winter and springtime wardrobes are being rotated in the Lawrence-Maroney house.
