Jennie’s Airport Outfits: An Appreciation
How do you dress for the airport? If you’re anything like me, the ’fits focal point is a pair of trackpants and a college sweater—maybe a neck pillow if I can remember it, slung over my elbow like a tote. But Jennie has a rotation of chic, elevated travel looks. No neck pillow in sight.
Yesterday (February 28), the Blackpink singer and actor caught a flight from Incheon International Airport—likely, heading toward the imminent Paris Fashion Week—dressing in a look more primed for the front row that the departures lounge. She wore head-to-toe Lemaire, consisting of an oversized, panel brown suede jacket, and a dark check flannel shirt, expertly layered over a pale pink sheer dress with an arpeggiated hemline, and laced up knee-high boots.

A brief appreciation note of Jennie’s airport looks: she’s never one to let airport security impede on her style and keeps switching things up. Never overdressed, but put together and effortless. Think head-to-toe Chanel and a monochromatic fit—actually pretty practical, with straight-leg jeans and easily slipped on and off heeled boots. The rest of her looks have featured functional beanies (Chanel, of course), lots of denim separates, and cozy knits (more Chanel, mostly plaid). She keeps accessories cute too which is a simple way to zhoosh up any outfit, with fuzzy scarves, ear muffs, cross-body bags and mini-bags. (No need to worry about fitting those bulky ziplocs for beauty bits, we imagine).
