Hunter Schafer’s Look for the Prada Show Was a “Heightened Character”

Hunter Schafer is no stranger to a Prada show. As a face for the Italian fashion house, and a regular wearer of its designs on the red carpet, the Euphoria star was predictably front row today at the brand’s fall 2024 presentation during Milan Fashion Week. “I’ve found real kinship with my Prada family,” Schafer tells Vogue. “It feels like a mini reunion every time we get together to celebrate their next collection. I love Prada because it’s alive, and constantly evolving.”

Of course, the star had to bring out a statement look for the occasion. (Doesn’t she always?). Styled by Dara Allen, Schafer brought eccentric fashion energy to the show; She wore a sleek zipped-up trench coat that was actually borrowed from the boys. “The recent menswear collection was really exciting to me,” Schafer says. “The trenches were stand out pieces, and the one I chose allows a perfect blend of everyday, and some sort of heightened character.”

If the ensemble were to have a character, it would definitely be some sort of slick secret agent; Schafer accessorized with big optical frames and extra-pointy distressed leather pumps. The actor’s favorite finishing touch, however, was that satin pouch bag. “[It’s] my favorite bag from the women’s spring collection,” she says. “I’m particularly excited about the small Satyr’s head on the clasp—it’s adorable and terrifying at the same time.”
