How to Order Sam’s Club Pizza for Delivery

It seems that the pizza delivery scene has a new contender: Sam’s Club. This is exciting news for anyone whose favorite nostalgic slice comes from visits to this bulk retailer, as patrons can now savor its piping hot pizzas without having to make a grocery run.

The Walmart-owned warehouse chain already has a loyal following of fans for its in-store café pizzas, so it's no surprise that customers want them delivered to their doorsteps. As a Walmart corporate announcement from May 22 details, the pizza delivery service is currently available in “the majority of Sam’s Clubs nationwide and will be live in all clubs by the end of the month.”

According to the Sam’s Club Café menu, the pizzas come with three different topping options: Pepperoni, Cheese, and Four Meat (with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, and bacon).

Members of Sam’s Club can order their choice of these 16-inch hot, fresh-baked pizzas and have them delivered right to their homes through the popular supermarket’s new pizza delivery service.

Each pizza costs $8.98, plus delivery fees. Although Walmart’s press release does not specify the delivery costs, Supermarket News reports that the standard delivery fee is $12, with an option for express delivery for an additional $8. While these additional charges are relatively steep, delivery is free for Sam’s Club Plus members making a total purchase over $50. These fees match those for a standard delivery order of other items from Sam’s Club.

The retailer says that customers who select express delivery can expect their pizzas to arrive “in less than three hours from the time you place the order,” but they can also choose a future delivery time frame if they’re not in a hurry. If you're planning ahead for a pizza party, a scheduled order of Sam's Club pizza might be a good idea.

What sets Sam’s Club's pizza delivery service apart from chains like Domino’s or Papa John’s? You still get the other perks of ordering from a warehouse retailer. Along with your hot, cheesy pizza, you can buy any other items you might need from Sam’s Club — so grab some snacks for that pizza party while you're at it. Getting your favorite bulk groceries is also a practical way to reach that $50 benchmark and avoid the delivery fees.

To place your pizza order, you can use either the Sam’s Club app or the store’s website. Select your preferred flavor(s) of the Member’s Mark Hot Baked Pizza, then choose the delivery option. From there, you can schedule your desired arrival time frame or upgrade to express delivery to receive your pizza as quickly as possible.
