Here at Vogue, we consider Gisele Bündchen our adopted rich mom. (Whether she adopts us back remains to be seen…) While we can’t exactly raid her closet like we could our own mothers’, we can at least look to her for style inspiration.
The supermodel has perfected a particular aesthetic that we have lovingly dubbed “Rich Mom” style. Her closet overflows with athleisure for her morning Pilates sessions, but also business-chic staples like impeccably tailored coats, wide-legged trousers, and short suit sets. But then again, the Rich Mom is just as comfortable in loose white linen as she is a Gala-friendly gown.
Bündchen has really come into her own Rich Mom energy over the last two years, mastering the looks with ease. Whether she’s strolling around Miami in an oversized white tee tucked into flowing linen pants; launching her line of herbal supplements in an off-white cashmere sweater and trousers; or walking the Met Gala carpet in a feathered cape, everything she touches looks unfathomably luxe. Even in some of the most unglamorous places—like JFK Airport or a horse stable—she manages to look opulent.
