Reuters was able to verify the location from the buildings seen in the video which matched filed and satellite imagery of the area and the original metadata. Reuters was able to confirm the date the video was filmed from the metadata which matched reports from local news on the floods.
The harsh weather has seen flooding affect several parts of northern Italy, as well as Switzerland.
