Fire crews respond to garage fire on Dock Landing Rd in Chesapeake
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Dock Landing Road Monday morning.
According to officials, around 4:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 2300 block of Dock Landing Road for reports of a possible structure fire. Crews arrived to the scene and found a small detached garage on fire.

The fire was then quickly extinguished to ensure it did not spread to any nearby structures. No injuries were reported due to the fire.
As a result of the incident, crews said delays might be possible Monday morning at the intersection of Dock Landing Road and Portsmouth Boulevard.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
