They say that the only things that are certain in life are death and taxes, but I know of another one: That Emily Ratajkowksi will be photographed wearing a variety of The North Face puffers around New York City once the temp hits 50 degrees. She’s not even in the brand’s ads—she just genuinely seems to love these jackets and has been wearing them year after year (in a variety of colors, I might add) since she moved to New York several years ago.
From where I stand, it seems that Ratajkowski is one of the big reasons The North Face puffers sell out every winter, like clockwork. She’s certainly contributed to its cool factor, and trendy retailers like Shopbop, Revolve, and Urban Outfitters stock them now. Given that EmRata just busted out one of her first puffers of the season (see below), you can expect a swift sell-out to follow across the internet.
