Dunkin’s Pink Spritz Refresher Is Here, and It’s Bringing the Vibes

When exactly does a drink become a fashion accessory? As we’ve observed the rise (and continued rise!) of fashion’s foray into the food world, Dunkin’ is making a welcome introduction with its first summer drink spotlight — and it’s collaborating with a style-forward creator for the launch.

The Pink Spritz Refresher is coming to Dunkin’ menus this week, as the company announced today. This sparkling drink, which joins the Massachusetts-based chain’s lineup of Refreshers, combines flavors of guava, orange, and passion fruit with sparkling water. It hits menus today and is expected to be available throughout the summer.

To celebrate the launch, Dunkin’ has partnered with podcaster and content creator Paige DeSorbo. She brings her more than 1.5 million Instagram followers and countless listeners to the table — and in her words, the newest pink drink is “giving motivation.” The Giggly Squad host and Summer House alum told Food & Wine this week that the summer partnership felt like an intuitive fit.

“Working with Dunkin’ felt like hanging out with a friend who just gets you. I’ve been a Dunkin’ girl since childhood, so when they asked me to be part of this, it was a full-circle moment,” DeSorbo tells Food & Wine. “And the Dunkin’ Pink Spritz Refresher? It’s light, bubbly, and a little bit extra — basically me in drink form. I’m obsessed.”

The 45-second commercial spot suggests that the Pink Spritz energizes DeSorbo to crawl out of bed, model new outfits, and actually leave the house on a lazy day. (She deems it “the accessory worth getting out of bed for” in the commercial.) Fans might also catch a sweet cameo from her fabulously groomed cat, Daphne.

While the fizzy Pink Spritz might evoke visions of rooftop happy hours and vacation getaways, this Refresher remains humble. You can snag a medium size of this limited-edition drink — along with all of Dunkin’s fruit-forward Refreshers — for just $3 in the app.

At that price, you might consider pairing it with another treat on the menu: Might we suggest the brand-new Orange N’ Vanilla Specialty Donut? This “taste of summer nostalgia” features a citrusy cake donut drizzled with vanilla icing. Yum.

As for other menu additions on the horizon, Dunkin’ is teasing more “culture-forward collabs” and drink releases this summer. For now, though, customers can enjoy a lineup of app-exclusive deals throughout the coming month.

Here’s the rundown: For the first half of June, the chain’s Iced Strawberry Lemon Loaf will be available for $2 with any drink purchase. From June 14 to June 15, loyalty members will earn triple points on half-dozen or dozen donuts, as well as 25- and 50-count Munchkins. Starting June 16, hungry visitors can grab $4 Bacon Cheddar Omelet Bites with any beverage purchase. And we can’t overlook 100 Bonus Point Mondays, which will continue through June.

We’re considering this as Dunkin’s official nomination for the spritz of the summer.
