CGI subsidiary bags modernization contracts for U.S. patent and trademark office

CGI Federal, an operating subsidiary of CGI (NYSE:GIB) secured two contract awards from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Under these contracts, which have a combined total potential value of $119M, CGI (GIB) will deliver operational, maintenance and security solutions and expertise in support of the global innovation community operated by USPTO.

Under one of the awarded contracts, a 5-year blanket purchase agreement worth up to $84M, CGI (GIB) will provide secure financial management services to USPTO.

As part of the second awarded contract, a new task order valued at $36M over five years IDIQ contract, CGI will provide development, security and operations support of USPTO’s Certified Copy Center and Assignment Center products.
