Bilt Rewards Just Announced a Huge Transfer Bonus With This Airline — for One Day Only

Bilt Rewards is launching an unprecedented transfer bonus to Alaska Airlines for one day only, allowing members to get up to 100 percent more miles.

“To say we’re excited to partner with the Alaska Airlines team for the July 1st Rent day would be an understatement,” said Bilt’s vice president of travel, Richard Kerr, in an exclusive statement shared with T+L. “Bilt and Mileage Plan members can realize incredible value, whether through elite status or bonus miles this month. Thanks to the amazing team at Mileage Plan and we look forward to continuing to bring never-before-seen value to our members every Rent Day.”

The program’s signature Rent Day, which falls on the first of every month, has exclusive offers for members to earn bonus points and win prizes. For July 1, Bilt Rewards is bringing a transfer bonus to its newest airline partner, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.

Depending on your elite status level with Bilt Rewards, you’ll have access to the following transfer bonus:

  • Platinum: 100 percent bonus
  • Gold: 75 percent bonus
  • Silver: 50 percent bonus
  • Blue (no status): 25 percent bonus

The transfer bonus will be available for the first 50,000 miles transferred, and then the standard 1:1 ratio will take effect for all miles thereafter. This promotion will only be live from Monday, July 1, at 12 a.m. ET to Tuesday, July 2, at 2:59 a.m. ET, so travelers have a few days to search for award flights on Alaska Airlines and plan their transfers accordingly.

Alaska Mileage Plan is regarded as one of the best frequent flier programs. The airline is a member of the Oneworld alliance and has an impressive list of international partners with whom you can redeem miles.

To make the deal even sweeter, Bilt has released a status match opportunity for its top-tier members. From today until Monday, July 1, Platinum and Gold members can earn Alaska MVP Gold and Alaska MVP status, respectively, by transferring 10,000 Bilt points to Mileage Plan.

These elite status levels will be good through Dec. 31, 2024, offering benefits such as two free checked bags, complimentary upgrades upon availability, and more when flying Alaska Airlines. However, the initial transfer of 10,000 Bilt points will not count toward the transfer bonus for July’s Rent Day.

This limited-time promotion comes as Bilt Rewards announced a key partnership with Alaska last month. Travelers with the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Credit Card can earn 3x miles on rent, up to $50,000 per calendar year, by paying with Bilt.
