Bar Convent Brooklyn Returns to Industry City on June 10–11

Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB) will return to Industry City in Brooklyn, New York, on June 10–11, 2025, for its seventh annual gathering of bar and beverage professionals. The two-day trade fair, often viewed as New York City’s answer to New Orleans’ Tales of the Cocktail, is expected to surpass last year’s record-breaking attendance of more than 5,300 industry professionals and 230 exhibitors from 48 countries and 47 U.S. states.

This year’s event will feature expanded courtyard activations and new dedicated areas, including the Author’s Alley (where industry authors can promote and sign their books), the Italian Trade Agency Pavilion, and a section specifically focused on low- and no-alcohol products. A new VIP+ badge option will offer exclusive access to the VIP lounge, welcome bags, networking events, private tastings, and intimate “Crafted Conversations” with industry experts.

The education program, curated by a committee of industry leaders — Lynnette Marrero (Speed Rack, MasterClass, Delola), Derek Brown (Positive Damage), Kevin Diedrich (Pacific Cocktail Haven, Kona’s), Alba Huerta (Julep), Julie Reiner (Clover Club, Milady’s, Leyenda), Christian Suzuki-Orellana (Bell Tree Hospitality), and Robert Björn Taylor (Honest Bar Co.) — will include more than 50 panels. Topics will range from digital branding to pricing strategies, and category deep-dives, such as “Cocktails, Cameras, and Credibility: Taking Your Career Online,” “Cocktail Pricing for Modern Times,” and “Gin: A Spirited & Turbulent Love Story.”

“From education seminars and thoughtfully curated programming to interactive experiences and cocktail demonstrations, we remain committed to empowering beverage professionals from around the world,” says Jackie Williams, event vice president of BCB Brooklyn, in a release. “As we look towards June 2025, the BCB Brooklyn team is excited to be a hub for connection, as professionals come together to push beverage industry innovation forward.”

An addition this year is the Brand Accelerator Pitch Competition, presented in partnership with Women of the Vine & Spirits and Diverse Powered Brands. The competition is open to first-time exhibitors, brands in the Emerging Brands Pavilion, or companies less than five years old. Finalists will pitch their products to a panel of industry leaders, with the winner announced on June 11.

In addition to educational sessions, BCB Brooklyn remains a social hub for the global bar community — a reputation its organizers aim to foster. Last year’s event saw more than 550,000 samples poured. This year, the event will expand further, taking over Industry City’s courtyards with music, games, and other activities, creating a festival-like atmosphere that fosters both community and professional networking.

Tickets are now available through the BCB Brooklyn website.
