It’s been a minute since Ariana Grande has graced us with a performance. For the past year now, the singer has been focusing on filming the upcoming Wicked films, in which she will portray Glinda, the Good Witch. Therefore fans have been devoid of fresh music from Grande, except for one live set of numbers in London earlier this year. This weekend, though, Grande made a splashier return to the stage, joining Mariah Carey for a special cameo at her ongoing Merry Christmas One and All tour.
The crowd went wild when Grande and Jennifer Hudson joined Carey on stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday evening. Reuniting to belt their hit “Oh Santa!”, the three performers slipped into their best and most festive holiday ensembles. Grande sported a red, off-the-shoulder mini dress by Mirror Palais with matching red opera gloves and sparkly heels; Hudson wore a feathered and sequined black mini dress, while Carey opted for a slinky metallic silver one.

Together, the three stars perfectly encapsulated a glitzy, razzle-dazzle holiday spirit. Maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll even get another Grande cameo before the end of the year—a New Year’s Eve appearance, perhaps? She does know her way around a good party dress, after all.
