The Best Deals at Lidl for the Fourth of July

This affordable product line already includes options like USDA Choice beef, antibiotic-free chicken, and organic or grass-fed meats, and just in time for the Fourth of July, the German supermarket is offering an even greater deal for a selection of grill-ready options. 

Between July 4 and July 10, members of Lidl’s free rewards program, myLidl, can reap the benefits of several deals on premium meats and seasonal produce, primed for some great meals over the long weekend. 

A Lidl representative confirms to Food & Wine, “The deals are only available if you download the myLidl app — you can either scan the app or enter your phone number at the register for the automatic discount. For new myLidl app users, a coupon will be sent to save $10 off a $20 purchase.”

Which Lidl items are included in the deal? 

Discounts on meat will include Butcher’s Specialty fresh sirloin steaks for $4.99 each (saving you $2 compared to the original price), a family-sized pack of Butcher’s Specialty whole chicken wings at $2.99/lb (saving 70 cents per pound), Perdue organic boneless chicken breasts for $4.99/lb (a discount of $1.50 per pound), and Smithfield half boneless pork loins for $1.99/lb (saving 30 cents per pound).

Additionally, a four-count pack of avocados will be $2.49 (saving you 68 cents with myLidl), and Honeyglow sweet pineapples will cost only $1.99 each (saving $1). To truly impress guests with your cookout side dishes, this means you could gently char some pineapple slices to make our Grilled Pineapples with Barbecue-Spiced Breadcrumbs and Country Ham or Salsa de Piña Tatemada (Grilled Pineapple Salsa). 

As for the avocados, we can guarantee that a batch of fresh guacamole will pair well with pretty much any meat you decide to grill.
