Meghan Markle-Recommended Fellow Corvo Electric Kettle

Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, is as aspirational as cooking shows get. The Duchess of Sussex spends each episode hosting — and preparing for the arrival of — her famous friends, making gorgeous bedside bouquets, snacks, and homemade housewares to create an inviting environment. While gooseneck kettles’ long, thin spouts are great for precision, the Corvo tea kettle’s wider opening is useful when I’m making large batches of iced tea for the week and don’t want to spend the extra time pouring.

The Corvo is, without a doubt, the most high-tech kettle I’ve tested. It has a convenient dial for customizing the temperature down to the degree, and it heats water speedily. The kettle has presets for different types of coffee and tea, in case you don’t want to do the calculation yourself. It can toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius and has three language settings: English, French, or Spanish.

I tend to forget about my tea after boiling, so I love that this kettle keeps water at my preferred temperature for up to an hour. I can even schedule my kettle to heat up at a specific time, so it’s hot and ready to go as soon as I wake up. A customizable melodic chime sounds when my water reaches the set temperature; the volume is adjustable, but I keep it on the loudest setting so I can hear it all the way from my bedroom. What better way to wake up?

The beauty of this kettle cannot be understated. With a matte body and wooden detailing on the lid and handle, it doubles as countertop decor. (Why hide something so stunning away in a cabinet?) It comes in five dual tones, like the off-white and wooden combination I own, each with an ergonomic handle that feels comfortable in your hand.
