Veronica Beard’s NYFW Dinner Was an Ode to the It Girl

In a nondescript Greenwich Village construction-covered townhouse, the It Girl was redefined. Famed models, of-the-moment actors, and industry insiders filed through the scaffolded entry into People's—a new evening club and art salon—to celebrate the launch of Veronica Beard's Spring 2025 Collection titled“It Girl.”

To brand founders (and sisters-in-law) Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard, an It Girl isn't a person; it's a feeling. It's the feeling of effortless allure, a je ne sais quois way of being, a quality that can't be labeled.

“You can’t really define it—it’s that perfect blend of cool and confident,” Swanson Beard tells Vogue. Miele Beard chimes in, “The It Girl collection is a true manifestation of our brand values – confidence, style, and the strength of femininity.”

And the guest list reflected the collection. Martha Stewart and Laura Brown made appearances at the cocktail hour. Models Taylor Hill, Laura Harrier, and Brianne Howey headed the elegant flower-adorned dinner tables. Fashion notables Janelle Lloyd, Charlotte Groeneveld, and Babba Rivera engaged in animated conversation.

“For any young women looking up to me, I hope that I can be a positive person in their life” Hill tells us. “I came from nowhere. I'm from Colorado. Anyone can do anything. If I can do it, you can do it. We've got it.”

From the personalized caviar service to the designer bags at each place setting, the careful curation of the evening brought the brand to life. The intimate dinner brought together impressive individuals from the industry—all It Girls in their own way.
