“It’s moving along,” he shared. “It’s going a little more slowly than I would have liked, but that’s a good thing because we’re trying to find the right writer and the right story.”
And Rob confirmed that everyone from the first movie—including Demi, Emilio, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Mare Winningham—is “on board.”
“Everybody’s excited,” he continued, while reflecting on the reasons why he thinks the movie “still resonates with people.”
