Air fryer tomato and asparagus is an easy side dish sure to be a crowd-pleaser! Serve the air fryer tomatoes and asparagus with your favorite protein or a light salad for a fresh and healthy meal!

Ingredients you need for the Air fryer Asparagus and Tomatoes

1 1/2 pounds of asparagus, trimmed
1 1/2 cups grape tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (oregano, thyme, rosemary)
1 tablespoon parmesan, grated
1 tablespoon chopped basil

Directions

1. To make the air fryer tomato and asparagus: Start by snapping off the end of each asparagus spear. Cut off about 1 to 2 inches from the bottom to keep the tender part.

2. Place the trimmed asparagus and tomatoes on a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Then mix the grated garlic clove, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and toss them until asparagus and tomatoes are well coated in the seasoning.

3. Place the seasoned asparagus and tomatoes into the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes at 360ºF (180ºC) or until the asparagus and tomatoes reach the desired texture. Serve the air fryer asparagus and tomatoes immediately, sprinkled with basil, red chili pepper flakes, and parmesan. You can serve some of the cooking juice as a sauce on the side. Enjoy! ❤️
