I used to dread spring cleaning. When I was a kid, my father would bring out all the cleaning products and have us get to work scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom, going through our messy closets and a pantry full of chaos to see what was even in there. I’ve had this crock for years, but every time I go through my utensils and reorganize it, it feels totally new. I’ve recently been on a mission to get rid of black plastic and beef up my wooden utensil game. Since I live in an apartment and don’t have much drawer space, this crock is actually one of my most important kitchen organizational tools. It helps me stay honest about which tools I truly need and forces me to keep them all in one place. Plus, it’s a stunning Le Creuset piece, which is always nice.

Having a nice dish rack is cool, but they’re not always the right move. For one, they take up a lot of space; furthermore, I don’t usually love how they look. This foldable dish rack comes out of the cabinet when I’m washing dishes and goes right back in when they’re done drying. As I’ve been doing some early spring cleaning, I’m grateful for how easy this pad makes drying large amounts of kitchen items at once.
