Le Creuset Alpine Outdoor Enameled Cast Iron Skillet

REI

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Le Creuset on sale at REI, but there’s a first time for everything. Aside from making our favorite Dutch oven and enameled skillet, Le Creuset has an Alpine collection designed for outdoor cooking. The durable cast iron pieces all come with a matte black enamel coating that resists stains. This skillet has dual handles that are upturned, making it easy to maneuver over the firepit or grill.

Yeti Roadie 24 Cooler

REI

Another rare deal from REI’s clearance sale is this Yeti Roadie 24 hard cooler that’s nearly $50 off. Built with Yeti’s renowned insulation and durability, this hard cooler will last through years of outdoor adventures. It can fit up to 33 12-ounce cans without ice, and its 13-inch internal height is tall enough to allow a bottle of wine or a 2-liter soda bottle to stand upright. I’ve had a Yeti cooler on my wish list for ages and this might be the time for me to grab one.

Lodge Blacklock Lightweight Cast Iron Skillet

REI

After almost a year of covering camping gear deals, I’ve never seen Lodge go on sale at REI — until now. I love cooking with my Lodge skillet at the campsite and would recommend it to any camper who’s looking for a piece of camp cookware that’ll last decades. This Lodge Blacklock cast iron skillet, now on sale for only $30, is lightweight thanks to its thinner walls and has an extended, raised handle that stays cooler over the fire.

OXO Outdoor Perforated Carbon Steel Fry Pan

REI

OXO’s perforated grill basket is ideal for cooking loose vegetables or shrimp over a fire. The carbon steel pan comes pre-seasoned and is designed to handle high-heat cooking. The detachable handle is also helpful in case you want to use it with a grill and close the hood. I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting a carbon steel grill basket for a while, and now that this OXO one is on sale, I might just add it to my cart.

Stanley 5-Piece Wildfare Pro Saucepan Cookset

REI

I have a nesting cook set that comes with me on every camping trip, and this similar Stanley kit is on sale and has all the essentials in one compact package. The 5-piece set includes a saucepan, lid, cutting board, removable trivet, and folding serving spoon. The stainless steel pot conducts heat evenly and quickly for those cold camp nights when you just want to eat something warm and have it done fast.

Stanley 5-Piece Wildfare Pro 10-Inch Square Pan Cookset

REI

Stanley also has this nesting pan set that’s ideal for campground breakfasts, be it fluffy pancakes or cheesy scrambled eggs. The nesting system includes a square pan, lid, cutting board, trivet, and folding spatula.

Opinel No. 12 Explore Knife

REI

Every camp gear collection needs a good folding knife, and this Opinel No. 12 that’s on sale for 41% off even comes with a tick removal tool built into its handle. The super sharp blade smoothly folds in and out for quick tasks around the campsite and the textured handle adds stability while you grip it.

Hydro Flask Camp Bowl

REI

Stackable bowls are essential for camping, and these Hydro Flask ones have a clever two-layer construction that keeps the outside comfortable to the touch. Whether you’re enjoying soup or ice cream, you won’t have to worry about burning your hands or getting chilly palms.

Hydro Flask Camp Plate

REI

These stainless steel camp plates from Hydro Flask have a slim profile, making them ideal for packing into your camp gear box. Now that they’re on sale for just $12 apiece, I’m swapping out my mismatched plastic plates for a few of these.

Hydro Flask 24-Ounce Mug

REI

I love to sip on a fun drink while camping, so this Hydro Flask travel mug caught my eye instantly. The generous 24-ounce capacity can hold a good amount of liquid and the double-wall vacuum insulation keeps contents hot or cold for hours. I especially like the sipping lid that presses on firmly to prevent spillage.
