Wife and husband-to-be Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco both have quite distinctive, individual style. While Gomez has forged a refined, ladylike look in powder-blue Prada and anticipatory bridal whites, with ornate custom Ralph Lauren and glittering Armani Prive for her red carpet appearances, Blanco loves pale linens, loud prints, and hippie hemp materials.
Stepping out in New York City for a late night dinner date with friends yesterday (March 18), the singer-slash-actor-slash-beauty-mogul and super producer continued their opposites attract couple style M.O. Gomez opted for a sleek, monochromatic suit, with a tailored black blazer, a plunging silk black shirt, and matching suit trousers. She also toted Schiaparelli’s iconic Face bag, decorated with signature anatomical jewels in enamel and hammered golden brass that forms the trompe l’oeil face. A cute, couture-y way to finish off a sleek fit. Blanco, meanwhile, wore a billowing white linen print shirt, with brown cow print trousers, and cowboy boots. Who knew the couture and cowboy sensibilities could mesh so well. (Well, paging Bella Hadid).
The duo, who announced their engagement back in December, enjoyed a fun night out with friends at New York hot-spot 4 Charles Prime Rib.
Some couples, like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky or Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, enjoy a united sartorial approach when they step out to dine and meet the paparazzi. On the other side of things are couples like the Biebers, who really lean into their polar-opposite style.
Blanco came as Gomez’s date to the 2025 Oscars, too. Though she walked the red carpet solo in her bejeweled Ralph Lauren look, Blanco joined her inside the event, himself wearing a cream three-piece suit with a long black coat studded with floral adornments slung over his shoulders. At the Golden Globes, they found a similar set with their style in powder blue and crisp white to recall the classic couples of old Hollywood.

Gomez and Blanco have just debuted their latest song together, “Sunset Blvd,” which is inspired by their first date in Los Angeles. “I feel like this exact moment will be etched into my memory forever,” Blanco wrote on his Instagram stories. “We were playing ‘we are not really strangers’ and the card we pulled said ‘take a selfie together’ then u layed [sic] your head on my chest…After we took the photo i looked at u and could feel ur heart pounding so hard that i had no other choice but to lean in and kiss u…And i can tell u for sure that that was the best decision i have ever made in my life… i love you.”
