RIYADH — The whole expenditure on analysis and growth in Saudi Arabia reached SR14.5 billion in 2021, the Basic Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) revealed.
The authority launched on Wednesday the analysis and growth statistics publication for 2021.
The publication confirmed that the variety of staff on this subject reached 30,220, and the variety of researchers recorded throughout 2021 reached 24,808.
The federal government recorded the best proportion of expenditure on analysis and growth, at 50 % of its whole expenditure, adopted by the personal sector with 35 %.
The schooling sector spent 15 % of its expenditure on analysis and growth. It registered the most important proportion of staff, 25,178, within the subject of analysis and growth, or 83 % of the full quantity.
The federal government recorded 2,967 staff, or 10 % of whole staff, whereas the personal sector ranked final with 2,075 staff, or 7 %, in 2021, in keeping with the publication.
