Postcards From Portofino: Alex Consani on All the Pasta Eaten and Tea Spilled at Pucci

Move aside tomato girl summer—it’s Alex Consani in Portofino spring. The setting? Pucci’s spring 2025 show, where the Italian label, under Camille Miceli, took over La Cervara for the occasion, a characterful 14th century abbey with breathtaking views of the Golfo del Tigullio.

Consani walked the Pucci show at sunset on Friday, alongside the likes of Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy, and Naomi Campbell. She wore a ’60s-esque mini dress in black with a powder pink, hypnotic Pucci print, paired with intricately patterned gladiator-style sandals that gave Italian lady of leisure.

Doing as the Italians do: Facetiming with Aeporol spritzs, cigs, and Pucci print bandanas in the sun.

The model got to enjoy some time on either side of the Pucci affair. “Portofino is amazing!” Consani tells Vogue. “I have spent most of my time with friends since I have been here—Karen Elson and my queen Lulu Tenny, as well as Felice and all the other girls here. [I’ve been] swimming in the sea and shopping—a true vacation!”

Consani took Vogue along for the trip: Kicking things off in her hotel room, dressed casually in a teal and cobalt blue Pucci bikini, with a gold belly chain, and gray sweats—comfy and casual Pucci. A quick taxi with her fellow models was soundtracked by Charli xcx’s “Party 4 U.” Rehearsals took place on the terrace in the sun, with captivating coastal views. In between, Consani fooled around on an ice-cream bike: “You want two scoops? We only have Pucci.”
