NASA has chosen Northrop Grumman Methods Company of Redondo Seaside, California, to assist the James Webb House Telescope Section E – Operations and Sustainment contract.
The contract is a sole supply cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a worth of $31,186,099. The interval of efficiency is from December 25 to June 24, 2027.
The contractor will present the services and products required to watch and preserve Webb spacecraft techniques together with the spacecraft bus, optics/telescope, and sunshield; preserve and replace the spacecraft flight software program; and pattern spacecraft efficiency and suggest corrections and updates required for spacecraft well being and security.
The work shall be carried out at NASA’s Goddard House Flight Heart in Greenbelt, Maryland, the House Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore and on the contractor’s facility.
